Ostuni, the White City of Salento, is located in the province of Brindisi at more than 200 metres above sea level, on the last offshoots of the Murgia territory. This white jewel of Apulia is one of the most famous places in Salento, along with Santa Maria di Leuca, Otranto and Taranto.

The historic centre of Ostuni, called 'La Terra' by its inhabitants, was once completely painted with white lime, which only partially remains today. Along the 17 kilometres of coastline in the Ostuni area, in a wonderful play of colours, are long beaches with dunes covered in Mediterranean maquis and an alternation of sandy coves and rocky coastline. Today, the coastline is one of the most attractive seaside resorts in Puglia.
